Start by visiting the Ciotaden museum, located in the old city hall, this museum contains more than 1,500 objects tracing the local history, from antiquity to the present day. From the invention of the cinematograph and the game of pétanque to the old shipyards. Continue to the Notre-Dame-de-le-Garde chapel, 85 steps carved into the rock to reach the platform that dominates the chapel and that will offer you a superb view of the bay of La Ciotat. Then, the Port Vieux, with its warmly colored facades, and the Notre-Dame-du-Port church which dominates it, its cafés and restaurants terraces, the Port Vieux has kept the charm and authenticity of a Provencal fishing port.
