SAS APPART’CITY is a company listed in the Trade and Companies Registry of Montpellier under number 490,176,120 and with its registered office located at 125 Rue Gilles Martinet, 34077 Montpellier, FRANCE (hereinafter, “APPART’CITY”). We are the data controller for the purposes described below.

Data categories collected and sources

The data that are processed are identification details (name, surname, address, nationality, etc.), data relating to your areas of interest, email address, personal life details (family situation, children under your care, etc.), occupational details, information relating to customer reservations and payments and, for prospective employees, data on education and work experience.

The details collected by APPART’CITY which are required for carrying out the above-mentioned purposes are marked by an asterisk on the data entry forms. If you do not fill in these compulsory fields, APPART’CITY may be unable to carry out the relevant service.

Your data are collected directly by APPART’CITY or they may have been transmitted to us by our commercial partners (booking centres, travel agencies, recruitment agencies, etc.).

Individual-related data are stored by APPART’CITY in accordance with the regulation on data protection and for the period laid out in law.  For example:

  • Data relating to recruitment management are stored for 24 months;
  • Data relating to leads are stored for 3 years from the last sales contact;
  • Data relating to customers are stored for the contractual term plus the legal term allowed.

 

Recipients

The processed personal data are primarily available to the Sales & Marketing Department, Information Systems Department, Finances Department and Human Resources Department of APPART’CITY.

Individual-related data may be disclosed to third parties, partners and/or subcontractors of APPART’CITY (e.g., external service providers for IT maintenance) for the purposes stated in this policy. Subcontractors acting on the instructions of APPART’CITY are obliged to implement the appropriate safeguards for these individual-related data. The following companies are used:

If a third party is located in a country whose regulations do not provide the same level of protection as that applicable in Member States of the European Union, APPART’CITY will ensure these transfers are carried out in accordance with the provisions set out in the French regulation (through the use of standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Union or membership of the EU-US PRIVACY SHIELD). Your rights

  • You have the right to request access to your personal data and their rectification.
  • You have the right to request the processing of your personal data be restricted, (i) if you dispute the accuracy of the data, during which time we will check their accuracy, (ii) if you consider the processing is unlawful and you demand a restriction of processing instead of their erasure, (iii) if we no longer need your data for the purposes stated above but you still need them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, (iv) if you object to the processing pending verification whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
  • You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data. If you request the deletion of your data, APPART’CITY may still store them in an interim archive for the period necessary to comply with its legal, accounting and tax obligations.
  • You can, at any time, exercise your right to object to how we process your data on grounds relating to your particular situation.
  • You can also object to direct marketing without needing to give a reason.
  • You have a right to data portability. In other words, you can obtain a copy of the personal data held on you in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and have them transmitted to a third party.
  • You also have the right not to be the subject of a decision solely based on automated processing which produces legal effects for you or significantly affects you.
  • You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
  • You also have the right to leave instructions on the storage, deletion and transmission of your personal data after your death.
